Old Priorians Vets are set to open their defence of the Middlesex Vets Cup next Friday, starting with a tie against Hendon - who were runners up to OPs in last year's competition.

OPRFC have won the last two editions of the Cup and are currently on a seven match unbeaten run, stretching back to February 2023, their last loss coming in April 2022 when they were defeated 7-5 by Chiswick Silverbacks in the 2021/22 instalment of the tournament.

The Vets will need to play three games before reaching a possible final ; if successful in the round of fourteen, they would then go on to play one of London Cornish or Haringey Rhinos. The full draw for the first round of the Cup is below :

Grasshoppers v London Welsh

Hendon v OPRFC

Teddington v U.C.S

Whitton v Old Actonians

All fixtures are due to be played on or before the 30th November, with the quarter finals following in January 2025. Semi finals will be in April before a provisional May date for the final.

Hendon will host Old Priorians on Friday 29th November at Haringey RFC, a scheduled 8pm kick off.
